Colorado Colleges offering Masters Degree in Internet Marketing?
Im about to graduate High School, and I really want to find a college or university that offers a masters, or for now, even just a bachelors degree, in Internet Marketing. I was considering Full Sail, since they offer a masters in this, but its online, and I really want to go to an actual location, and still stay here in Colorado. Ive been searching for a while now, and I haven’t found a college or university that offers a course in Internet Marketing. I have found several that offer Marketing, but not specificaly Internet Marketing, which is an important factor, since the carreer I will pursue is one that is done mainly online, and that needs extensive knowlege of specificaly Internet Marketing. If any of you know of any colleges here in Colorado that offer this, I would greatly appreciate if you could tell me. Thanks
Maya Mendoza answers:
Sorry to be blunt, but why do you really need a masters degree for Internet Marketing. I am not knocking it but to be honest there is more than enough information on the net now that with focus and mainly time you can learn the bulk of marketing online in far less time than going through years of schooling.
Please again I am not knocking the fact you wish to get a degree I have a lot of respect for that, but the IM world is different that the offline world marketing wise, the internet is fast moving and leaves nothing in it’s path.
Using your talents for helping offline companies to make better use of the internet, perfect solution to it all.

Robert asks…
Do any Real Colleges Offer Internet Marketing Degrees?
Maya Mendoza answers:
I teach at Full Sail University and they offer both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Internet Marketing (online programs). Full Sail University is accredited and has been around for 30 years (they also have on-campus programs). You can learn more at http://www.fullsail.edu/online/degrees/internet-marketing .
Internet marketers are going to be very much in demand and having a degree makes you that much more valuable.

Is A Marketing Degree Worthless?
I was orginally planning to get a degree in Meteorology but I needed alot of Calculus classes and that turned me off. With marketing it looks like I only need one calculus or statistics class and im good. So I have heard good things and bad things about marketing. I wanted to know if a degree in marketing is good or not?
I already do internet marketing but im sure this is different. It looks like a degree thats fairly easy, and I have heard people say you can make alot of money. I just want to know if I could get a job or not with a marketing degree. If anyone has a degree and could provide some help I would be thankful. I thinking of going to California State University. Can anyone help me here? Thanks
Maya Mendoza answers:
The other answers are pretty accurate; I would add that you might want to go on to get you MBA to set yourself apart. Also, while getting the Marketing degree, do intern work.

Carol asks…
I am interested in switching careers into Internet Marketing. Will Internet Marketing master certificate help?
I do not have a bachelors degree but am a tech geek and am knowledgeable about SEO and SEM practices. I mainly have a sales background and am looking for a change.
Maya Mendoza answers:
In my honest opinion, you don’t really need a degree. With regards to Internet marketing it is more important that you got something to show for. If you start your own company, no one will ask you if you have a degree. Rather, they would like to see proof what you are capable of.

Daniel asks…
Can someone tell me of any Internet based degree recognised in the UK labour market?
Many universities (especially in the US) now offer online degrees. Are they really authentic or are they recognised in the labour market?
Maya Mendoza answers:
Try the Open University, they have been doing correspondence degrees for years and still set the standard!
