2012 is rapidly coming to a close and most organized businesses will be well into the final stages of their strategic planning and budgeting  for 2013.

Well look at this – Now you can collect payments for digital and virtual goods right within a game!

Google In-App Payments gives developers the capacity to take payments with a simple ’1 step click’ from right within a web app, so buyers can enjoy the app without interruption.

At the moment In-App Payments are available for integration into within a game, app, news or media site. It is available to developers with a United States bank account and for buyers in more than 140 countries. We suspect that Google will roll out further developer locations when they are satisfied that there is a demand.

This is great news for the app industry and will help give Android and and Blackberry a more flexible monetisation model that will competed with Apple / iTunes 1 click payment strategy.
