Google-Plus-for-business-explainedGoogle+, is the social network by Google. It is currently the words second largest social networking site based on user count.

Although user activity statistics are not as attractive to marketers as those in Facebook,  Google+ receives a vast amount of activity from a very socially engaged and loyal following.

If you are looking for a deeper connection with your audience and customer base, then Google+ is the place to go to create it.

If you’ve never taken a peak at what’s inside you are missing out. There is masses of help to get started and it wouldn’t take long before you notice that there are thousands of  bustling niche communities inside.

For Google’s part, they have done well to support this community by introducing killer features their users can be proud of.

  • Trending on Google+
  • Communities
  • Hangouts
  • Circles

Personally I’n 100% sold. I think the features in Google+ are superior to those the other social networking sites currently offer. That said, we’ve come up with a cheatsheet, meant to lessen the learning curve for those who wants to cdoss over , or jump the fence.

This infographic brings you:

  • Introduction to UI
  • Hotkeys For Less Fuss Navigation
  • Tips For Google+

People have many different reasons for collecting and analyzing statistics on popular Internet sites.

The most successful websites provide examples of proven web design techniques.

In addition, successful Internet businesses provide relevant examples for entrepreneurs in many disparate industries.

Highly analytical sites like InternetWorldStats.com provide fascinating information about the most successful modern websites. Though Google ranks highly, Facebook easily earns its place as the most visited website.

Hundreds of millions of people use Facebook to network with friends, family members and business associates. Other social sites like Twitter have extremely loyal followings.

Surprisingly, two Chinese-language sites rank among the most popular addresses in the global Web. Roughly 13% of all Internet users use Baidu every day. This Chinese site mimics Google in many important ways. Despite privacy controversies, QQ.com also ranks highly in the list of popular websites.

This famous site competes directly with global services like Twitter and Facebook. These massive Chinese sites demonstrate China’s relevance in the modern virtual landscape.

Not getting enough attention on the social web?

When only 6% of a brand’s Facebook fans engage with that brand’s page,  is there anything  you can do to increase that percentage and effectively get your (invisible) Facebook audience to engage with you?

And why stop at Facebook?

There are many more social networks, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, Youube, Linkedin, Flikkr to name but a few –  and each one has it’s own tone, usefulness and influence when it comes to your brand and reputation.

In simple terms Social Media success is all about:

  • Differentiation
  • Knowing your audience and your influencers
  • Listening
  • Giving value via content
  • Contributing to the conversation
  • Giving people a reason to join in

How Google Finds Bad Back-link Networks & How to Protect Your Website [infographic]

Tags: back link check up, How to find and fix bad links to your website, Panda update, Penguin update, web links diagnostic tool

If your business, like so many others, is still suffering the after-shocks of the Google mass de-indexation, you might be curious to know how Google caught you out.

After all, if you are in a hurry to get your search rankings back on target you might be tempted to try to game the system again and make up some of the ground you have lost.

Today I read a very through and well put together article written by Christoph C. Cemper titled How Google Finds Unnatural Links to Your Website.

The article showcases a detailed infographic by the same name and adds a in depth narrative that explains the visual commentary.

The essence of Cemper’s article is to highlight just how easy it is for Google to expose a link selling network, and sites associated with it in minutes. He also prescribes a solution if your site has been snagged in the Penguin net and you need to purge yourself of bad co-citations and spammy backlink networks.

Take a look at the infographic below.

How to clean up your site

Part of the clean up prescription is an invitation to try out Cemper’s Link Detox product. Weather you want to take a look at it or not, it seems to me that utilising a links diagnostic tool might be both prudent and very useful.

So, on a personal note, Milagro will be taking advantage of (and testing) their special offer back link check up – after all for $1 it’s a steal. We will keep you posted regarding the results and the software performance so remember check back to find out how we got along.

You can read the complete article in SearchEngineJournal.com  We would love to hear your opinion. Do leave a comment below and remember to share and +1 ~ thanks
