When Google Places transitioned to Google+ Local it caused quite a stir. Three months on, whats the overall verdict on the new Local Search page?
I know you will agree when I say that Google is still the undisputed king when it comes to local search, after all 97% of consumers confirm that they research local businesses before making a buying decision. So, have the recent Google + Local (Google Places) changes been a boost or a bust? What are your thoughts?
Jordan Kasteler has written a comprehensive, well thought out article for http://searchengineland.com. If Local Search is important to your business I this is well worth a read. http://selnd.com/Rs3Jn6
I also found another great post with some easy to follow SEO tips that seem to be getting the job done. It’s written by @p_launspach and titled “SEO Study: Google Rewards ‘Local’ Businesses” for http://bit.ly/NX0EL8
